World Sesame & Peanut Conference
The 8th World Sesame & Peanut Conference (WSPC 2026), held from 30 August to 1 September 2026 at Le Méridien Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, concluded on a high note, bringing together over 300 delegates, 14 exhibitors, 19 sponsors and 17 supporting bodies from across the global sesame and peanut industry. The conference once again reinforced its position as an important international platform for industry dialogue, knowledge sharing, networking and business development.
The three-day gathering commenced on 30 August with delegate registration, followed by a memorable Welcome Cocktail Dinner aboard the ICON SAIGON Cruise. Set against the vibrant skyline of Ho Chi Minh City, the evening provided an excellent opportunity for industry professionals to reconnect with colleagues, establish new relationships and engage in meaningful conversations ahead of the conference sessions.
On 31 August, the conference featured a series of insightful presentations, interactive discussions and industry exchanges addressing key developments shaping the global sesame and peanut markets. Industry experts, traders, processors and business leaders shared perspectives on market trends, production outlooks, supply and demand dynamics, trade opportunities and emerging challenges across international markets. The day concluded with a Gala Dinner, bringing participants together for an evening of networking and camaraderie.
The discussions continued on 1 September, with further knowledge-sharing sessions and industry interactions, providing valuable insights into evolving market conditions and future opportunities. The conference concluded after lunch, marking the successful completion of another edition dedicated to strengthening collaboration across the global sesame and peanut value chains.
