India Gold Conference
The India Gold Conference 2023 held between 18 and 20, August 2023 at JW Marriott Kolkata, India concluded on a high note, bringing together industry leaders, stakeholders and experts from around the world. The conference was organized by Eventell Global Advisory Private Limited in Association with India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd (IBJA), supported by World Gold Council. Over 590+ delegates participated physically in the three-day annual conference that saw over 32 sponsors, 4 partners, 22 exhibitors and over 46 esteemed speakers expressing their views.
The agenda covered topics ranging from a masterclass on refining technology, PMLA compliance, regulation and reforms in India's gold and jewellery sector, understanding rules for import of gold under CEPA with UAE and the role of IIBX, bullion markets and trade in 2022-23, sustainability principles in the gold industry, bullion refining in India, price outlook, to discussion on #yellowrevolution, transforming traditions, opportunities in Ghana gold mining sector, India gold jewellery market, banks role and bullion market development, Evaluation of Gold from 1997 till 2023 and price outlook on gold. The conference hosted the "IGC Excellence Awards", and 21 well-deserved companies and individuals received the prestigious award.
