AICA Cashew Convention
The 3rd AICA Cashew Convention 2026, held from 7–9 August 2026 at Novotel Convention Centre & JECC, Jaipur, concluded on a remarkable note, marking one of the largest and most successful editions in the convention's history. Organised on an unprecedented scale, the three-day gathering brought together 830+ delegates, 94 exhibitors, 7 Broker Lounge participants, 6 Machinery Hangar Expo participants, 33 sponsors and 10 state partners, reinforcing AICA's growing significance as a platform for the cashew industry.
The convention commenced on 7 August with delegate registration and a networking lunch, providing an opportunity for industry colleagues to reconnect and establish new business relationships. This was followed by a closed-door meeting of the AICA Board of Directors, the official inaugural session and a series of industry-focused discussions. The opening day concluded with a Welcome Cocktail Reception, bringing participants together for an evening of informal networking and meaningful interactions.
8 August marked a major highlight of the convention, with a full day of insightful presentations, engaging panel discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions. Industry experts, business leaders and stakeholders exchanged perspectives on developments, challenges and emerging opportunities within the cashew sector, encouraging dialogue and collaboration across the industry.
Beyond the conference sessions, the expansive exhibition hall emerged as one of the convention's biggest attractions. For the first time, AICA featured over 100 exhibition stalls, creating a dynamic business environment where exhibitors could showcase their products, services, machinery and innovations. The dedicated Broker Lounge and Machinery Hangar Expo further enhanced opportunities for industry-specific interactions and business development. A special visitor access facility also enabled non-residential participants and local business visitors to explore the exhibition, interact with exhibitors and discover new commercial opportunities.
The second day concluded with a memorable Gala Dinner featuring traditional cultural performances, offering delegates an enjoyable evening of celebration, networking and camaraderie.
The final day, 9 August, introduced one of the convention's most distinctive attractions - KAJU MAHOTSAV, a special initiative designed to celebrate cashews beyond trade and highlight their nutritional value, culinary versatility and everyday appeal. Opening its doors to both convention delegates and the local community, Kaju Mahotsav brought a fresh dimension to the event by connecting the cashew industry directly with consumers.
A specially curated Experience Zone offered visitors an interactive opportunity to discover the benefits of cashews while sampling a variety of cashew-based delicacies. Adding to the excitement, 15+ renowned celebrity chefs participated in live culinary demonstrations, preparing innovative dishes featuring cashews as a key ingredient. A dedicated display area showcased an assortment of unique cashew creations, promoting greater awareness of the nut's versatility, nutritional benefits and potential in modern cuisine.
The enthusiastic participation in Kaju Mahotsav brought the three-day convention to a fitting conclusion, reflecting AICA's broader vision of strengthening industry connections while promoting cashew consumption and awareness.
The success of AICA Cashew Convention 2026 represented an important milestone for the association. With its expanded exhibition footprint, strong industry participation, diverse conference program and innovative consumer engagement initiatives, this edition demonstrated the growing potential of the convention as a platform for business, knowledge exchange and industry collaboration.
